a.c problems on an old 97 honda accord
Im tryna to fix a 97 accord with a/c problems. The wire going to the a/c compressor is heated all the time, as long as the ignition is always on. So it will stay engaged all the time. The a/c button in the car dont turn it off. I have replaced the relay and pressure switch. I was just wondering if it might be the heater a/c control panel in the dash. I'm pretty darn lost and really dont know what to do... If I hook the compressor up and turn it off in the car. The car runs pretty bad and dies sometimes because it idles down.

Would appreciate some help on this! thanks!

Sounds like the Honda autoclimate to me. If you have it set to auto then the compressor will run, as well as when you use the defrost. Try turning the entire system off and see if that helps.
